Private Sessions (50 mins)

I enjoy working with people who want to deepen their connection with their mind, body, heart—to learn how to truly love and care for themselves. This work is close to my heart because for so long I lived my life carrying around a deeply engrained story that there was something wrong with me, that I was unworthy and unloveable (I still hear the whispers from time to time but they don’t run my life). I was always searching and searching outside of myself for ways to feel better and for answers to life’s great questions—like what is this all for? It was not until I looked deep inside myself with supportive others, holding fast to the intention to be the one to love myself and tend to my nervous system, that my stories began to lose their hold over me and I began to hear the wisdom within.

And it all starts with being present in your body, dropping into your heart, becoming aware of the workings of your mind, and allowing yourself to become comfortable with being with you. It is here, in the now, that we come to know who we are and how to care for ourselves.

In each session, we work together to support you to meet yourself in the moment—being curious about what is asking for your attention and tuning in to how you can nurture yourself. Some people are new to mindfulness, self-compassion, and nervous system healing, while others may not be. Either way, these sessions are for you to learn how to care deeply for yourself.

I use my active listening skills, which I have honed working as a registered nurse over the last 15 years, and as a practitioner of mindfulness, self-compassion, and Somatic Experiencing™ (trauma resolution/nervous system healing) to meet you exactly where you’re at. I mirror to you what it’s like to be held with deep understanding, compassion, and acceptance. Your only job is to show up with a willingness to open yourself to a little more kindness. My intention is for you to walk away with clarity of spirit and a deeper connection to self, meaning knowing the truth of who you are beyond the stories you’ve been believing about yourself. You will learn mindfulness, self-compassion skills, as well as somatic practices to carry with you to befriend your mind and tend to the needs of your body and heart.
